The Karing Home Youth Project Announces Donkey Baseball Extravaganza to Support Homeless Youth in Otsego County
Otsego County, MI – Monday, July 15, 2024 – The Karing Home Youth Project (KHYP) is thrilled to announce an exciting new event to raise funds and awareness for homeless youth in Otsego County. The Donkey Baseball Extravaganza, in partnership with the Otsego County Fairgrounds and our main sponsors, SERRA Ford Gaylord and M&M Excavating, will take place on Saturday, July 20. This unique and fun-filled event will feature a game of donkey baseball, food trucks, and a variety of games for children.
Under the tagline "Join the Fun – No 'Ass'umed Skills Required!", the event promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators alike. All proceeds will go towards supporting KHYP’s mission of providing safe places to live and comprehensive community support for young people experiencing homelessness.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, July 20
Location: Otsego County Fairgrounds
Time: Doors and games at 11:30 AM, Donkey Baseball begins at 1 PM
Activities: Donkey Baseball, food trucks, kids' games including a dunk tank, pin the tail on the donkey, cupcake walk, and more. Local celebrities will be playing baseball on donkeys – an event you truly don't want to miss!
